Grant Ashworth is the owner and managing director of U Name It Promotions, which produces and supplies branded merchandise for businesses across the UK.
Founded in 2001, the company has an idyllic home in the heart of rural North Yorkshire, but its commitment to innovation and design matches that of a thriving Shoreditch tech startup.
With an incredibly talented and creative team at its disposal, U Name It supplies everything from branded hoodies and sportswear, to ballpoint pens and gift bags. Over the course of 15 years, Ashworth has grown the company into a team of 12 employees and opened a number of regional offices.
While Ashworth is very prudent with his finances, he was faced with a headache when a few of the U Name It’s clients started stalling on their invoice payments. Having experienced the intransigence of the banks first-hand, as well as the expense of other funding solutions, Ashworth got in touch with Fleximize after hearing our adverts on LBC Radio.
