With the UK’s exit from the EU dominating the headlines, the comments of Fleximize’s very own Max Chmyshuk were featured widely in the British business press.
Although the result of the referendum might not have been what many business owners were hoping for, our Co-Founder and Managing Partner offered “a balanced view” on the outcome, according to AltFi.
His thoughts were shared by Russ Shaw, Founder of Tech London Advocates, the body that champions London’s tech scene. “Today’s result is not what the London tech sector wanted to see, but we will continue our efforts to build London tech and continue on our journey to make London a world-leading tech hub,” Shaw told Tech City News.
Russell Quirk, CEO of eMoov, the online estate agency, also offered an optimistic perspective on a post-Brexit Britain. Speaking to BusinessZone, he said: “Going forward the UK market will go from strength to strength, perhaps with wobbly knees at it emerges from the clutches of the EU, but it will soon find its feet again.”
However, other business leaders had a gloomier outlook. While Angus Dent, Chief Executive of ArchOver, described the outcome as a “disaster for this country”, Michael Kent, CEO and Founder of Azimo, told VentureBeat the result is “a blow to London’s financial services industry.”
As well as being featured in the titles mentioned above, Talk Business also used Max’s comments as part of its referendum coverage.
