The role
You will work within the Approvity team, liaising directly with existing and potential partners to build your own partnership portfolio. You will be responsible for building relationships with partners to promote & facilitate the services offered by Approvity. You will also be responsible for completing platform demonstrations to potential and existing partners to show the features and benefits of the Approvity platform. The role will include obtaining, verifying & collating information leading to completion & submission of full loan applications.
Responsibilities
- Customer service - Contact partners and/or customers by telephone to promote products offered by Approvity and its panel of lenders as appropriate. Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing partners
- Incomplete applications - Contact partners who complete partial applications through their partner portal, aiming to complete applications with the partner over the phone. Collating all documentation needed for an application and gaining an understanding of both the business and reasons that the funding is required.
- New loans - Contact partners who submit applications to us and where we have consent from the partner, contact their client. Collate all necessary documents and information with regards to the business and the funding requirement. Maintaining contact with the partner/client throughout the application process to provide updates and request any further information.
- Declines - Contact the client/partner to provide the reasons behind an application being declined. Recognise if any further information can be provided to mitigate decline reasons
What we're looking for:
Ideally, you'll be:
- Professional and confident with a good ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Self-motivated, ambitious and forward thinking, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and remain flexible, when required.
- An excellent communicator (both written and verbal).
- Strong analytical, administrative and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, ability to use Microsoft systems.
- Willing to travel to visit partners and complete platform demonstrations.
- Be able to maintain a high level of work whilst effectively completing tasks in a timely manner.
Bonus points for:
- Previous experience in a partnership or sales role.
- Previous experience in the fin-tech industry.
The interview process
Our interview process involves four stages
- Initial chat/telephone call (15 - 30 mins): Once you apply, if your application aligns with what we’re looking for, the hiring manager will contact you for an introductory conversation.
- Face-to-face interview (45 mins – 1 hour): If the hiring manager feels you’re a good fit from the initial chat, you’ll be invited to a face-to-face interview at Fleximize HQ.
- Skills task: This stage consists of a role-specific test that will be either conducted at the time of interview or sent via email for completion over a couple of days.
- Meet the team: If you get through to this stage, you will be invited to go into the office to meet the team. This will allow both parties to set expectations and ensure the role is a good fit for the candidate.
