Although we support small businesses all over the UK with flexible business funding, there’s nothing we love more than lending a helping hand to a local business.
Based in an innovative startup hub overlooking the picturesque Ipswich Marina, EP Marketing sits alongside Fleximize at the forefront of a cluster of tech-focused, fast-growing businesses emerging in Suffolk. Providing a wide variety of digital marketing and web design services, it has racked up an impressive list of clients, all of whom have felt the benefit of EP Marketing’s expertise.
EP Marketing started on the kitchen table of founder Emma Pratt in 2012. After working in progressively senior marketing roles for an array of prestigious law firms, Emma felt the time was right to set up her own business, using her expertise in marketing and creative design.
Having grown up in Suffolk, East Anglia was the obvious choice for Emma, who wanted to deliver the level of service commonly associated with London-based marketing agencies, but without the London price tag. Having guided EP Marketing to an impressive start, Emma's leadership has firmly established the company as one of Suffolk’s leading marketing agencies.
Cash flow challenges
EP Marketing has built its reputation on Emma and her team’s hard work, dedication and innovative approach to its clients’ needs. With its mantra of “everything is possible”, and ability to deliver tangible results, EP Marketing has set itself apart from many other marketing agencies.
One major issue, however, that has hampered the growth of the business is cash flow. Most business owners will attest to cash flow being unpredictable, and in EP Marketing’s case, it has stunted the company’s ability to take advantage of opportunities. With ambitious plans in the pipeline, EP Marketing turned to Fleximize in February 2016, having spotted our advert on a nearby roundabout. The company was looking for a flexible finance solution that would allow it to grow, without having to rely on invoices being paid on time.
