Who is Elizabeth Tansley?

A dab hand at Microsoft Excel, Elizabeth is responsible for the day-to-day running of Fleximize’s finance department. As well as preparing the company accounts, Elizabeth also processes the staff payroll and manages loan deposits for clients. In her spare time, she enjoys sun-seeking, cooking for friends and hitting the gym.

As Fleximize’s financial controller, Elizabeth is charged with making sure that all of the important numbers add up. She produces regular financial and operational reports, processes the accounts for Fleximize, and works closely with finance director Dan O’Sullivan to produce long-term business plans and financial forecasts.

Elizabeth’s other roles include managing relationships with suppliers, processing payroll for the company and generating cash flow forecasts. She also supervises Fleximize’s accounts assistants, training and mentoring them while offering any assistance that they might need with their accounting qualifications.

When she’s not crunching the numbers, Elizabeth pens the occasional article for Fleximize’s Knowledge Hub. One of her first pieces explored the difference between gross profit and net profit, a common source of confusion for many small business owners.
