Fleximize, one of the UK's leading business finance providers, has announced its official sponsorship of fight night at The O2 in London on Saturday 29th August, when Moses Itauma faces Filip Hrgovic for the vacant IBF World Heavyweight Title.
The bout is one of the most anticipated heavyweight fights in years. Britain's Itauma, unbeaten in fourteen professional fights with twelve knockouts, is aiming to become only the second heavyweight in history to win a world title before the age of twenty-two, behind Mike Tyson. Croatia's Hrgovic, with a record of twenty wins from twenty-one fights, brings experience at world level and has questioned whether Itauma has yet been tested against opposition of this calibre.
Fleximize's sponsorship of the event builds on its ongoing involvement in boxing, including its continued partnership with heavyweight contender Fabio Wardley.
Promoted by Queensberry Promotions, the fight marks another major night for British heavyweight boxing, with Itauma and Hrgovic both bringing serious credentials to the ring.
Frank Warren, Founder of Queensberry Promotions, said:
"Moses Itauma vs Filip Hrgovic has all the makings of a heavyweight classic and we're delighted to have Fleximize on board for what promises to be a special night, with a new heavyweight champion crowned at The O2 on August 29th. It will be another huge night for Fleximize, Queensberry and British boxing."
Peter Tuvey, Co-Founder and CEO of Fleximize, said:
"Boxing has become a big part of what we champion at Fleximize, and this is a natural next step after our partnership with Fabio. Nights like this – where real talent gets the chance to prove itself on the biggest stage – are exactly the moments we want to be part of. We're excited to be at The O2 backing this one."
As a business built on supporting growth and backing ambition, Fleximize's involvement in the sport reflects its commitment to championing individuals and businesses striving to reach the next level.
