Fleximize Perfectly Suited to Plus-Size Clothing Retailer
Big Clothing 4 U opened a new showroom with a little help from Fleximize
13th April 2017
Ben Pearson is the founder of Big Clothing 4 U, a plus-size clothing retailer based in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. The company sells a wide range of clothes for men, in sizes that aren’t available on the high street.
Pearson was inspired to launch Big Clothing 4 U after struggling to find clothes that were made to fit larger chests and waistlines, and weren’t merely “scaled up” versions of regular-fitting clothing. Since August 2015, Pearson has steadily grown his product range to include garments from well-known brands such as Ed Baxter London and Espionage.
In January 2017, Pearson applied for an unsecured business loan with Fleximize, after realizing he’d need some additional capital to fund the completion of Big Clothing 4 U’s first showroom. With his bank unwilling to lend, Ben was drawn to the flexible benefits that Fleximize had to offer, and the speed at which he could access the funding.
Before he knew it, Pearson had £20,000 in his business’s bank account, and his company is now thriving as an online and offline retailer. To find out what Pearson had to say about his experience with Fleximize, simply click the button below.
