Who is Dan O’Sullivan?

Dan O'Sullivan is the Chief Finance Officer at Fleximize. Working closely with the CEO, he oversees all financial operations and strategic decision-making. As the company’s first employee, he has played a crucial role in shaping Fleximize from the ground up, helping it grow into a leading alternative lender. With a deep understanding of financial management, risk analysis, and investment strategy, Dan ensures the company remains on a strong financial footing while supporting its ambitious growth plans.

Beyond finance, Dan is passionate about building efficient processes to drive success across the business. His expertise spans everything from lender relationships to credit risk management, ensuring Fleximize continues to offer flexible, responsible funding solutions to UK SMEs.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, travelling to explore new cultures, and staying active. Whether it's discovering new destinations or supporting his local team at Portman Road, he thrives on new experiences both personally and professionally.

Dan O’Sullivan as CFO

As CFO, Dan is responsible for managing Fleximize’s financial health, from budgeting and forecasting to strategic investments and risk management. Working closely with the senior leadership team, he ensures financial strategies align with business objectives, driving growth and long-term sustainability.

Having worked with CEO Peter Tuvey since 2010 at Ariste Holdings, Dan brought extensive experience in lending operations when he joined Fleximize in 2013. He was instrumental in developing the company’s financial infrastructure, including system processes, underwriting, and risk management. He also led the setup of the business’ credit committee, implementing key risk frameworks and approval processes.

Dan has played a pivotal role in securing major funding and investment rounds, most recently from Citi and Goldman Sachs. His ability to build and maintain strong lender relationships has been critical in expanding Fleximize’s financial capabilities and ensuring continued access to capital for SME lending.
