The Knowledge Hub is an ever-growing collection of over 1000 expertly written business guides and articles, covering everything from tax law to managing employee mental health. As the content manager at Fleximize, you will play a key role in delivering the 'more than finance' components of our mission to our business community.
The Role
We're looking for a dynamic content manager to act as the editor of Fleximize, defining and driving editorial standards and excellence across all content. You will work as part of the in-house marketing team, managing a busy workload and delivering Fleximize's content strategy. You will work with the in-house teams and external agencies to evolve the long-term content strategy and independently oversee the delivery of the content plan.
The Content Manager is responsible for shaping and executing our content strategy to drive engagement, enhance brand awareness, and deliver valuable, informative, and entertaining content to our audience. This role is pivotal in maintaining and growing our online presence.
An experienced Content Manager with a strategic mindset and creative flair, exceptional writing and editing skills. The ideal candidate should be experienced in the financial services industry, be passionate about content marketing and possess the ability to mentor and nurture junior colleagues to create high-quality content.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy in line with business objectives.
- Oversee all content creation, including website landing pages and articles, emails, social media content, award entries, leaflets, videos, infographics and press releases.
- Optimise new and existing content for SEO and track content performance.
- Support with content creation across communication and marketing collateral.
- Mentor junior marketing colleagues.
- Liaise with guest writers, freelancers and editors.
- Conduct content audits and maintain an editorial calendar.
- Collaborate with wider teams to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and content marketing best practices.

Ideally, you'll have;
- A degree in English, journalism or creative writing, or a related field is preferred, although demonstrable experience and practical knowledge are highly valued.
- 3 year's experience working in marketing in a content-focused role with significant experience in the finance industry.
- An outstanding portfolio of work (to be provided with your application).
- Confidence, drive and be highly organised.
- Willingness to work hard, contribute to the team, and develop your skillset.
- A brilliant storyteller with a solid understanding of creating different types of content that captures an audience.

The interview process
Our interview process involves three stages:
- Face-to-face interview (45 mins – 1 hour): If the hiring manager feels you’re a good fit from the initial chat, you’ll be invited to a face-to-face interview at Fleximize HQ.
- Skills task: this stage consists of a role-specific test that will be either conducted at the time of the interview or sent via email for completion over a couple of days.
- Meet the team: if you get to this stage, you will be invited to go into the office to meet the team. This will allow both parties to set expectations and ensure the role is a good fit for the candidate.
