Five Free Business Events to Visit in 2016

Business events can be a great resource, even for the most cash-strapped entrepreneur

By David Kiriakidis

We all get it at some point – that complete lack of inspiration or creativity. Even the most successful of entrepreneurs will own up to it. One of the best ways to get over it is to do what writers do when tackling writer's block: take yourself away from the story momentarily. In business, one of the best methods is to get out there, and attend an event.

From simply wandering around an event, to attending seminars, or exhibiting your business, there are lots of ways you can get involved, dependent on how much time and money you have.

Sadly, since early-stage business owners are often low on budget, free business events provide a route for new entrepreneurs to meet their industry, and learn and get advice from people who've been in their position for a while. It's an opportunity to feel inspired – all over again.

So, we’ve travelled the lengths and breadths of Google to find the best free business events you can attend in 2016. Some are new, some old. Some are big, some are small. But they all share one thing: they’re great ways for you to spend a day learning new things and growing your business.
